Bleulab.. 2 jeans in 1 !!!

Hi ladies!

 

Sharing again one of my shopping experiences with you! This week I found out a new brand for jeans called Bleulab! It is not french as the seller in the shop told me .. it is actually a US brand from LA. The founder Carl Jones has created a two way jeans that can take you from day to night in the blink of an eye!!!  This sexy brand is built for today’s woman - an adventurer who is constantly in motion.

 

Their jeans is made to be worn on two sides, one of which is a day look the other is metallic shimmery or has some prints or simply just combining two day-looks with one light shade, the other dark... how cool is that?!!!

 

I personally tried the metallic fitting reversible leggings and they are super cool!!!! The advantages for me are:

1- The fit is amazing

2- I have two jeans in one

3- The price is almost the same as for buying one good brand jeans

4- They are so elastic and comfortable (not stiff like many others I tried)

5- Metallic jeans are so IN this season!

 

I was looking for a long while now for such metallic denim. I tried so many from different brands.. but I was never convinced till I saw and tried those ones and I just LUV them!

 

Just a tip: Pair it with a sheer blouse and a classic stiletto for a polished day ensemble. Add a killer bold lip and flip the leggings to the metallic side for a night look!

 

PS: for those of you living in Switzerland the brand is sold at Grieder.

Karen Millen... celebrating New Year with her ;)

My First Karen Millen dress

Couple of weeks ago I was in Globus (department store) in Zurich checking out the new arrivals for women clothes when my eyes came on this DRESS!! I knew immediately that if it will look on me as nice as on the hanger I would surely buy it and wear it for New Year! It was love at first sight ;) I checked the designer and found out it is Karen Millen! Once again she fascinates me with her evening-wear! This would be my 4th Karen Millen evening dress. I must say with her evening dresses I always feel quality/price is excellent. It is value for the money you pay and it is very reasonable money you pay here!

 

So I checked her evening collection for the Fall/Winter 2012-13 and came up with my favorite ones which I would like to share here with you. What I also did is that I combined each dress with shoes from the same collection.

 

PS: The dress looked AMAZING when I wore it..so you know now that I bought it ;)

Today I thought to write to you about colours and the messages they convey to us and others!

This is not just fun to read but it could help you select the right outfit for a special event. Knowing what each colour means or reflects about you might make you decide for example not to wear red for a job interview but rather grey or black!

Dareen Hakim.. A Bag with a Message!



Hi everyone...

 

As I was looking around this season's bags.. I came across this name "Dareen Hakim". What attracted me is that her bags are so trendy and modern yet they have a lot of authenticity and tradition. I love this mixture! I have always been fascinated by the jewellery of "Azza Fahmy" mostly cause of the Arabic poetry verses engraved in them, they had a message. So with Azza Fahmy, jewellery became more than just a beautiful ornament.. They said something to me or to their owner... they had a meaning!

 

It is the same idea here.. only that it is the first time I see it in a bag! The bags are so cool they come in different shapes and sizes really modern with amazing colours! But then again what makes them special is their inscription with the arabesque calligraphy.

 

What I also realised is that you can customise the bag, you can choose the leather kind, the color, The metal plaque and finally the inscription! So you can create a "one of a kind bag"! How special is this?!!!

 

It is really worth checking ladies and gentlemen! If you are looking for a special gift for your girlfriend, wife, mother, sister or your best friend. I am sure you can't go wrong with a Dareen Hakim bag!

 Hi Ladies!

I just thought to share with you a Smart-Casual look that I created myself ;) My drive here was the shoes below. I liked a lot the mixture of the Leo-print with Fuchsia (Pink). It is very seldom to find this combination. And I love it! So I made up the look from different designers. Hope you'll like it and can use some of the ideas to create your own personal look ;)

BAGS fever!!! My top picks F/W 12-13



I have been scanning this season's bags for a while now... No wonder as I am a "bags freak"!!!:)) I must admit I am very weak in front of bags..! I always believed one should mix his outfit between different budget-brands... But bags are this one item for which I could spend a big chunk of money while being convinced! I think a bag can enhance a lot your look and be your one and only statement accessory!

 

So originally I thought of picking five or 10 bags max to post to you here... but eventually it turned out to be much more :)))
